Senior Data Engineer

Candivore was founded in early 2018 with the purpose of creating great entertainment for mobile users around the globe. Our flagship game - Match Masters, an innovative multiplayer match 3 puzzle, is played by millions of players and we’re focused on making it even better with more players joining each day.

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a real passion for building complex, high capacity analytical systems to join Candivore and the Match Masters team.

As a data engineer developer you will be part of the Data and Analysis team and strive to ensure the smooth running of all data pipelines, the integrity and quality of our data infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing and building comprehensive analytical systems that represent behavioral statistics of millions of players.

Responsibilities

• Create infrastructure to manage and connect the different systems involved in data generation, visualization, storage, orchestration, analysis, experimentation and more
• Collaborate with various stakeholders across Candivore, including the engineering team, data analysts, and data scientists. Understand their work, collect requirements and create the relevant infrastructure to build easy to use and highly productive data systems
• Design and build frameworks needed for storing data, streaming data, Machine Learning infrastructure, experimentation and more
• Manage the full data lifecycle collecting needs, researching available technologies, designing architecture, development, maintenance and tuning, ensuring data lifecycle health and data availability

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in data engineering
• BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or any related degree
• Strong programming skills in Python and high level of SQL proficiency
• Experience working with MPP databases - preferably Snowflake or BigQuery
• Experience working on high-scale streaming data pipelines and production-grade projects
• Some experience with dashboarding tools like Tableau, Sisense, Looker, etc
• All-around team player who is a self-motivated, fast learner
• Background working with a cloud technology stack
